What is a digital London?

The whole city, in one explorable little world.

Illustrated miniature London scene accompanying What is a digital London?

When people say “digital London” they usually mean something enormous: data dashboards, digital twins, cities-as-interfaces. A 3D model of the City of London you can rotate, zoom and get lost in.

tinyLDN takes the gentler route. We are building a miniature London — recognisable streets, real buildings, the shops and cafés that give each corner its character — presented less like satellite imagery and more like a beautifully illustrated model you want to explore.

Each real business in the city can have its place inside it: an accurate miniature of its frontage, a profile that tells its story, and a direct link back to its menu, booking page or website. So a digital London here is not just a map. It is a little world of real places.

London has been rendered before — in maps, models and games. What is missing is a version built for the independent places themselves: a place where the café round the corner has the same presence as the landmark behind it.
